We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant – Fund Accounting to support real estate fund operations, financial reporting, and accounting processes in a fast-paced remote environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong US GAAP knowledge, fund accounting experience, and hands-on exposure to Yardi systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly fund work papers and supporting schedules
Prepare monthly financial statements for real estate funds under various accounting bases, including US GAAP historical cost
Maintain supporting schedules for:
Depreciation and amortization
Straight-line rent calculations
Right-of-use asset calculations
Other fund and property accounting requirements
Maintain accurate books and records for real estate funds

Entity & Payment Management

Manage books and records for managers and general partner entities
Process fund and entity payments accurately and on schedule

Audit & Tax Coordination

Work closely with independent auditors during annual audits
Coordinate with tax teams to maintain tax basis books and work papers
Assist with year-end processes including 1099 preparation and reporting

What We're Looking For:

Strong experience in Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting
Solid knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
Experience working with real estate funds preferred
Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager
Exposure to Yardi Fixed Asset module and Investment Accounting Software
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote setup
Excellent communication and organizational skills
