Job Description

The Workplace Counselor ensure first line counselling services to Conectys staff, offering integrative coping solutions with challenges potentially negatively impacting them in relation with their work context and challenges.

Within this role you will:

  • Provide confidential one-to-one‑ counselling sessions to employees on a wide range of wellbeing topics.
  • Conduct psychological assessments and offer appropriate short-term‑ interventions or referrals.
  • Manage sensitive and complex information with professionalism and maintain accurate, secure, and compliant client documentation in full alignment with legal, ethical, and data privacy‑ standards.
  • Create and deliver wellbeing initiatives, workshops, and programs across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with HR, leadership, and relevant teams to promote a culture of psychological safety and wellbeing.
  • Respond effectively to wellbeing-related concerns and crisis situations, providing appropriate guidance and escalation when needed.
  • Stay informed about best practices in occupational mental health, counselling techniques, and relevant psychological developments.

What will make you successful in the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (Master's degree is preferable)
  • Strong spoken and written English skills (good to excellent proficiency).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect empathetically across diverse populations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with ethical and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, professional codes of conduct).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and evolving work environment.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Megaworld, Iloilo City and being flexible with schedule shifts.
  • Experience in an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), clinical practice, or workplace counselling setting would be a plus.
