Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter Assistant / Candidate Researcher to support our recruiting team by identifying, researching, and building pipelines of engineering and technical candidates. This role is focused on talent sourcing and database development rather than full-cycle recruiting.

The ideal candidate enjoys online research, identifying talent, organizing information, and helping recruiters build strong candidate pipelines for semiconductor, embedded systems, software, hardware, and other technical engineering positions.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Research & Sourcing

  • Search for engineering and technical candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, internal databases, internet research, referrals, and networking platforms
  • Identify candidates with backgrounds in semiconductor, FPGA, ASIC, embedded software, hardware, validation, design verification, manufacturing, or related engineering fields
  • Build and maintain organized candidate pipelines for recruiters
  • Enter and update candidate information accurately in recruiting databases and ATS systems
  • Research target companies and identify potential engineering talent

Database Development

  • Build structured databases of passive and active engineering candidates
  • Organize candidate profiles by technical skillset, location, industry experience, and availability
  • Maintain clean and accurate recruiting records
  • Track candidate sourcing activity and recruiting metrics

Recruiting Team Support

  • Assist recruiters with candidate lead generation
  • Help identify candidates for urgent staffing and project needs
  • Conduct initial outreach to gauge candidate interest when requested
  • Support recruiting campaigns and talent mapping projects
  • Assist with market research and competitive talent analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong internet research and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Comfortable learning technical engineering terminology
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, CRM, ATS, or sourcing tools is a plus
