A truck mechanic / diesel technician inspects, diagnoses, repairs and maintains heavy duty trucks and commercial vehicles
Typical Duties
- Perform PMS (Preventive Maintenance Service) oil changes, Filters, fluid check, tire rotations and brake inspections etc.
- Inspect engine and identify mechanical issues drive train (transmission /driveshaft axles/differential)
- Inspect and repair braking systems, suspension, and steering component
Skills Required
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel and gasoline engine
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical system
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic system
- Physically fit and able to work in a garage or field environment
- Good communication with drivers and operations team
- Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and (drive train experience with Isuzu trucks)Enroll in vocational or technical program related to diesel engines or automotive technology
