Trainer

Location: Makati (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Trainer to join our BPO team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging training programs, developing healthcare-related learning materials, and ensuring employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional service to healthcare clients and members.

This role plays a critical part in driving operational excellence, compliance, customer satisfaction, and employee performance within a healthcare account environment.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery

  • Facilitate new hire training, nesting, refresher courses, and continuous learning programs.
  • Deliver training on healthcare processes, policies, systems, customer service, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Ensure trainees meet performance standards before transitioning to production.

Curriculum Development

  • Create, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, assessments, and job aids.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Client teams to incorporate process updates and changes.
  • Develop learning solutions that address performance gaps and business needs.

Performance Management

  • Monitor trainee progress through assessments, observations, and performance metrics.
  • Provide actionable feedback and coaching to improve knowledge retention and performance.
  • Identify training needs and recommend development plans.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure all training programs align with healthcare regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
  • Support quality initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent work experience

At least 1-2 years of training experience in a BPO Healthcare account

Strong knowledge of healthcare customer service, claims, benefits, eligibility, provider services, or related healthcare processes

Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

Experience conducting classroom and virtual training sessions

Strong coaching and performance management abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems

Preferred:

Experience supporting U.S. healthcare accounts

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare industry regulations

Experience in instructional design and curriculum development

Previous experience as a Trainer, Training Specialist, Learning Facilitator, or Training Supervisor
