Job Description

Overview

Responsible for overseeing the testing lifecycle of the applications within its domain and integrated applications. This role involves test execution, implementing test strategies, managing test cadence, mentoring team members, and ensuring high quality deliverables through defect tracking and resolution. Should have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with various testing methodologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed and comprehensive test cases based on business and technical requirements.
  • Oversee and manage test progress and defects raised during testing phase
  • Contribute in test strategies and scope for functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor test progress and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex testing scenarios.
  • Execute all the test cases (Functional, SIT and Regression), also participate in the UAT.
  • Collaborate with development, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues.
  • Ensure Test Process are followed according to the SDLC and Test Process Standard of the company.
  • Ability to prioritizes testing activities to ensure delivery of commitments
  • Can collaborates with Project Managers, ITSD Unit Heads, Development Leads across
  • Unit/Project team to ensure quality delivery and gather resource demands.
  • Can lead and coordinate test execution activities across multiple teams.

Qualification

  • At least 7-10 years experience in testing delivery of CRM projects, preferably Banking.
  • Experience in large scale testing programs (>1000 test cases at least)
  • Experience in leading and mentoring Testing Team.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in functional and non -functional testing
  • Has driven test process improvements within immediate team and across organization
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching team members as part of performance management
  • Knowledge on multiple testing tools like Azure DevOps, Mico Focus ALM, Jira, Postman, Playwright.
  • Experience in Test automation, Project Management, Risk and Issue Management and Mitigation is a plus.
  • Preferably with experience in banking M365 CRM systems
