Job Description- Crew Deployment, Communication and Logistics
- Facilitate PEME referrals for on-signing crew
- Facilitate arrangement of US, Shengen, MCV and other Visa related to vessel assignment
- Facilitate arrangement of required flag state licenses and endorsements for joining crew
- Facilitate working clothes requirement of crew.
- Conduct pre-departure/on-signing briefing as appropriateand monitoring of seafarers.
- Crew Systems, Monitoring and Reporting
- Updates crew personnel information in crew management system
- Verifies and updates crew documents and certificates in crew management system.
- Facilitate the circulation of the performance appraisal of Top 2 officers with the responsible authorities using Docusign.
- Updating crew performance appraisals in the crew management system
- Updating crew embarkation and disembarkation reports in office systems.
- Check whether pertinent information of crew is updated in crew management system before joining vessel.
- Assist in monitoring the validity of documents and licenses of crew
- Facilitates sea service record to meet crew requests.
- Cost Monitoring and Control
- Verification and limited approval of invoices related to crew change cost.
- Facilitate and approve crew reimbursements
- Emergency preparedness
- Rotate as part of the 24/7 emergency and crises response in line with the
- BW Epic Kosan emergency response procedures.
Qualification & Skills
- Possess a bachelor's degree preferably with high IT skills/interest or IT graduate
- Relevant experience in maritime industry is an advantage although newly graduates are welcome to apply.
- Maintain and meet specific Crewing Team performance metrics.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and takes initiatives to improve work processes.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, innovative and a good team player.
- Good computer and organization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
