Your role
As a Tax Accountant , you will: - Preparation and lodgment of the monthly Goods & Services Tax (GST) Business Activity Statements (BAS) / GST Returns, using automated GST reports and ITX Edge tax software.
- Preparation and lodgment of the monthly Payroll Tax Returns and annual Payroll Tax reconciliation.
- Preparation and lodgment of the monthly Pay As You Go Tax Instalment calculations.
- Preparation of the monthly reconciliation of tax accounts (e.g. Income Tax Payable, WHT payable, PRT payable).
- Preparation of the annual Australian Tax Returns for the consolidated income tax group and joint ventures using CCH Integrator tax software. Including preparation of the International Dealings Schedule and analysing international related party transactions.
What You Need:
- Tax professional with 5+ years of experience
- Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Tax degree is essential.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant
(CPA) - Sound computer skills - MS Office Suite particularly Word and Excel.
