Supervisor, GR Operations

The GR Operations Supervisor manages the goods receiving process, ensuring that deliveries are accurate, properly documented, and compliant with company standards. They coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and store operations to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent losses.

Key Responsibilities

Goods Receiving Oversight

• Supervise the unloading, inspection, and verification of incoming shipments.
• Ensure that quantities, product codes, and quality match purchase orders.

Documentation & Compliance

• Oversee preparation of receiving reports and reconciliation with invoices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Inventory Accuracy

• Coordinate with warehouse and store teams to update stock records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

Vendor & Logistics Coordination

• Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers to resolve delivery issues.
• Monitor timeliness and accuracy of deliveries.

Team Supervision

• Train and manage GR staff to follow proper receiving procedures.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management, preferably in retail.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of ERP/inventory systems, MS Excel, and documentation processes.
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
