A fantastic opportunity exists with Fluor Australia for Structural Engineers of various levels to work on two significant long-term, multi-billion-dollar projects with a Tier 1 Client within Fluor Australia at their Perth Office. The projects include a new greenfields development in the Pilbara and a major upgrade to their Port Facility as part of the Client's long term growth plans. Come and help build a growing team with a major international engineering company as they deliver some of the most exciting mining projects in the state.

Role Responsibilities:

. Responsible for providing the quality structural design in accordance with applicable standards, project technical requirements, project budget and schedule.
. Providing structural engineering analysis and design of bulk material handling structures
. Prepare and deliver cost-effective structural engineering designs from conceptual design to detailed design, tender and construction.
. Liaise with clients and key stakeholders.
. Preparation of technical reports

Basic Job Requirements

. Demonstrated structural design experience in resource projects in both brownfield and greenfield environment.
. Good technical capability and report writing skills.
. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
. Excellent communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
. A completed Civil/Structural Engineering Degree that is recognized by Engineers Australia.
. Minimum 6 years of working experience
. A strong client focus and desire to deliver practical, sustainable and effective engineering solutions
. High level of initiative and proactivity, particularly in relation to creative problem solving.
. A sound understanding of mentoring and coaching techniques.
