Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design future-proof solutions adhering to the long-term initiative of the Network Technical Group - to automate, consolidate, and simplify manual processes to achieve better operational efficiencies.
  • Recommend solutions to the task force demand and requirement, across each tower, through the creation of high-level designs consisting of architecture, security requirements, transaction flows and so on that shall articulate the design considerations, benefit roadmap, and principles used.
  • Map Demand Stories/User Stories and Idea Canvas of each Tower into a feature solution as part of the High-Level Design
  • Create Project Cost Estimates based on provided High-Level Design
  • Create a High-Level Project Timeline based on the provided High-Level Design
  • Attend to assigned IATF Tower cadences as needed - provide Solution architecture inputs to applicable queries
  • Give direction to Solution Designers and Developers based on High-Level Design
  • Assist Tower Leads and Project Managers on project updates/dashboards
  • Conduct meetings as needed to build the E2E High-level design based on User Requirements
  • Act as the bridge between the Business and Technical teams of IATF
  • Assist OSS Solution Architects in establishing Platform Roadmaps and CAPEX requirements
  • Design, development, testing, and support for various assurance platform integrations.
  • Deployment activities on MyCom OSI, IBM Maximo, IBM ICD, and Streamline Platforms.
  • Developing and debugging APIs, bash scripts, and syslogs.
  • Highly skilled in technology (Mobile Telephony, Fixed Broadband Networks, Enterprise Networks, database technologies such as SQL, and other coding applications used for inventory data analysis and modeling).
  • Service assurance tools to be used and applications that are best used by the company's data.
  • Translate business models into inventory models and determine rules for cleaning the inventory data if errors are prevalent
  • Coding of inventory data movement and storage, inventory data models and databases, and actual inventory data compliance and security features
  • Provides metrics to help business experts evaluate inventory data quality and policy adherence and determine if any changes need to be made

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Advanced security knowledge in a Telco.
  • Proficiency in analyzing system performance and scalability is essential.
  • Demonstrated operational efficiency spanning a minimum of 10 years.
  • Proven background in project costing and financial realization
  • 5 - 7 years experience in similar roles and function
  • At least 5 years leading IT operations
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with various software tools such as MS Office, Postman
