Software QA | Work From Home (WFH)

Job Description

Office Flex 0 is a permanent Work From Home and includes Fiber Internet, Backup Internet, UPS, PC/Laptop.

Objective of the Role

• Ensure we ship a high-quality product at high velocity to our customers
• Design and evolve a scalable QA function with Mumba

Core Responsibilities of Role

• Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
• Oversee and implement all aspects of quality assurance including applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
• Lead and mentor team members.
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
• Optimise QA function to maximise effectiveness, efficiency and velocity.
• Write and maintain public helpdesk documentation
• Write and maintain internal knowledge base documentation

Qualifications And Requirements

• 5+ years (7+ preferable) recent QA / QA Lead experience
• Team player
• Experience working in a SCRUM team under AGILE methodology
• Proficient English, written & oral skills to communicate effectively with customers and internally.
• Strategic outlook in terms of assessing how to best utilise our limited resources to achieve the best outcomes
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Team focused
• Automated testing design and implementation experience
• Tertiary qualifications in IT or related field.
