Job Description

Position: Software Engineer

Location: BGC, Taguig

Setup: Full Onsite

Employment Type: Project-Based

Cloud & Data Engineering:

Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake)
Databricks for big data processing
Google Cloud Platform (DataFlow, Composer/DAGs)

Programming & Development:

Java (Spring Boot)

Databases:

MongoDB
PostgreSQL

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
34 years of experience in application or production support
Highly technical, analytical, and detail-oriented
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Proactive and self-driven, able to work independently or in teams
Willing to work in a 24x7 support model, including on-calls, weekends, and holidays
Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle changing priorities

Reyesponsibilities:

Provide end-to-end support for application and data environments, including incident resolution, minor enhancements, and root cause analysis
Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge databases for solutions and incidents
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across cloud and application environments (Azure, GCP, Databricks, Java, Python, JavaScript)
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex issues within SLA
Perform proactive support, execute ad hoc requests, and prevent recurring incidents
Participate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement efforts
Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Take ownership of functional tasks or contribute as a Designer, Tester, or Implementer in various projects
