Job Description:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of our trucks.
- Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery schedules.
- Coordinate and perform routine inspections, repairs, and servicing of the truck fleet.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and vehicle performance.
- Manage the truck maintenance budget, including cost estimation, expense tracking, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs without compromising safety or quality.
- Identify reimbursable expenses
- Ensure complete inventory of trucks, running and breakdown
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers for spare parts and specialized services.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts as needed.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Implement safety training and best practices for the maintenance team.
- Investigate and report safety incidents or violations promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
- Generate reports on maintenance performance and equipment reliability.
- Maintain important documents such as OR/CRs, etc.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of truck maintenance technicians.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
- Set performance goals, monitor progress, and conduct performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in the related field
- Must have work experience in the related field
- People management skills and experience leading a large team
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good team player
- Adaptive with the fast-paced culture of the team
