Service Desk

Description
The L1 Support is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users experiencing hardware, software, or network-related issues. This entry-level position involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical problems, as well as escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • This role will be on a shifting schedule in Ortigas

Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and escalate unresolved problems to appropriate teams.
  • Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Document support activities, solutions, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Collaborate with other support technicians and teams to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.

Qualifications
  • I.T. College Diploma
  • Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
