About the Team & Business Line:

Citco IT arecurrently lookingto fillasoftwaredeveloperposition to assist with development and maintenance of strategic financial systems. The individual in this position will participate in the development and support of multiple client-facing and internal business systems.

This position reports to the local Team IT Manager. Citco IT is a global team of IT professionals that are responsible for the development and support of IT applications. The candidate will interact closely with multiple IT teams and business analysts, as well as QA teams and other technical groups and resources within Citco.

YourRole:

• You will be involved inseniorlevel development and maintenance of web applications developed in modern web technologies, according to development best practices
• You will be required to design, develop, test and deliver solutions as per business requirements
• You willalsoprovide support for existing internal systems owned by your team
• You willcontributetechnicallyto Citco initiatives around automation and tech modernization

About You:

• 5+ years of IT experience in design and development of enterprise level web applications using Javascript technologies such as React, NodeJS, CSS etc.
• Source control procedures and systems (Git)
• Experience in developing Rest APIs
• Experience in debugging functional and technical issues in a fast-paced environment
• Aptitude to identify where improvements can be made around business and technical flows, refine your suggestions and implement them
• Familiarity of Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN)
• Familiarity of build and deployment automation tools such as Bamboo, Octopus, Jenkins
• Understanding of technical, functional and non-functional requirements documentation
• Willing to do application support, development and maintenance depending on needs
• Possessexcellent documentation and communication skills and must be able to presentdesign,diagnostic, troubleshooting steps and conclusions to a varied audience
• Understanding of the importance and adherence to coding standards and consistency
• Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment with a positive attitude
• Highly desirable would be experience inMaterialUI, Ag-Grid, Figma, React test automation, AWS, Jira, Confluence
• Ability to lead projects on your own initiative such as migrating legacy GUI applications to modern web interfaces
