SENIOR ACCOUNTANT This is a key role in Global Finance team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the Statutory Reporting and filing for EMEA, APAC and LATAM international subsidiaries. Key responsibilities/tasks . Assist managing the external audits of International Subsidiaries. . Prepare the annual statutory financial statements, management accounts and audit schedules, ensuring the validity and completeness of account balances for international subsidiaries across EMEA, ASIA and LATAM ( 30 subsidiaries). . Prepares general ledger journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis for areas assigned including, but not limited to accruals and intercompany transactions. . Liase with outsource providers in some of international subsidiaries ensuring books are maintained and are in compliance with local gaap. . Partner with Global tax team in preparation of Corporate Income Tax returns and tax provisions . Prepare technical accounting memos in collaboration with our external and internal advisors. . Work as part of a multi-functional team to implement a new reporting and close management tool. . Ensuring the work of the accounting team is performed in accordance with company's international policies and procedures, including compliance with all aspect of Sarbanes-Oxley, example: adequate documentation and document retention. . Complete and or review (depending on country) compliance documentation such as local government surveys as required. . Other ad hoc duties as required
