We are looking for a senior team member to join us as an escalation point for complex technical issues across range of technologies, and provide expert management of Microsoft 356 environments, particularly in security.
Key Responsibilities:
Escalation Support:Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues across multiple technologies, including networking, server management, and cloud services.
Microsoft 365 Management:Oversee and manage M365 environments, including administration of Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID. Ensure best practices are followed in security policies, compliace, and incident response.
SecurityIncident Management:Handle and resolve security incidents within Microsoft 365, ensuring robust protection of client data and systems.
Technical Expertise:Provide expert guidance on advanced technical issues, including but not limited to network configuration, firewall management, virtualization, and backup solutions.
Client Communication:Communicate effectively with clients regarding technical issues, solutions, and ongoing support.
Documentation:Maintain and update technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and incident reports.
Collaboration:Work closely with Level 1 and Level 2 technicians to provide mentorship and technical guidance.
Continuous Improvement:Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices, proactively improving our service offerings.
Qualifications:
Experience:Minimum of 8 years in IT support, with at least 3 years in a senior technical role. MSP experience is highly desirable.
Microsoft 365 Expertise:In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, especially in security policies, compliance, and incident response.
Technical Skills:proficiency in network management, server administration, especially in security policies, compliance, and incident response.
Certifications:Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, CompTIA Security +. or equivalent are highly desirable.
Problem - Solving:Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and Agile methodologies.
Advanced certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or similar.
