Job Description

Job Summary:
The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading the migration from the current Health Insurance Core system to a new one. This includes overseeing the data and system migration to ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption to operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Job Functions:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for the migration, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Develop and manage the project budget, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and ensuring the project stays within budgetary constraints.
  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team to ensure successful execution of the migration plan.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address any potential challenges or roadblocks throughout the migration process.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the migration, providing regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices throughout the migration process.
  • Manage the budget and resources for the migration project, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a project manager, specifically leading IT system migration projects within the health insurance or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of data migration best practices, as well as experience with system integration and deployment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of health insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements.
