Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid

Reporting to the Head of Support Services the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for supporting customer environments and managing
proactive services.

Responsibilities

Support

• Troubleshoot complex issues, carry out changes, diagnose problems and resolve incidents - whilst adhering to the ITIL Framework.
• Provide 2nd line support to resolve infrastructure related issues within SLA targets
• Security vulnerability management and remediations
• Networking including Palo Alto and Juniper Switches and Firewalls
• Act as a technical lead and take charge of both major and security incidents and follow the relevant procedures for each.
• Takes ownership of complex operational issues provides appropriate support to other team members to improve the customer experience
• Identify and manage repeat incidents as problems (as per ITIL Framework) and drive them to successful resolution.

Proactive Services delivery
Proactive Checks

• Review monthly proactive checks for customers such as:

Vulnerabilities
Backups
Office 365 Configurations
Patch Compliance
Updating PowerPoint service report

• Resolve identified issues such as:

Out-of-date software
Resolve vulnerabilities
Implement Secure Score recommendations

Liaise with Technical Consultants and Account Managers to discuss opportunities for clients.
Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with technical teams across the business - suggest improvements to achieve efficiency and increase an overall company performance
• Be aware of ITIL service delivery and operational processes to ensure projects are transitioned carefully into the production environment. Ensure structured handover processes, technical documentation and training of the service desk engineers.

Qualifications:

• Microsoft Azure/Group Policy
• Windows 10 (or newer)
• Microsoft Office 365/Intune
• Experience of working within an IT Service Desk/Helpdesk Environment

Desirable

• Azure Administrator or Solution Architect
• Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Azure Exams such as Azure Virtual Desktop administrator
• M365 exams such as teams administrator, security administrator

Work setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite) / 4pm-1am Manila
