Job Description

The opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for management sales reporting through timely and accurate service delivery. The incumbent is responsible for collection, analysis and reporting of the sales performance of all Asia markets its and major distribution channels and support the continuous evolution and delivery of the management reporting within Asia region.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyze large amounts of financial and non-financial sales information from different functions across all Asia markets. Liaise and communicate with different teams/markets on any data submission issue.
• Produce standard daily, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports according to the close schedule.
• Support the annual consolidated planning process for both financial and non-financial sales metrics.
• Regularly review and propose report enhancements in support to business and operational goals.
• Develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, and dashboards.
• Improve and re-engineer reporting processes and deliverables to create efficiency during month-end and quarter-end cycles. Initiate improvements by exploring, identifying, and implementing reporting, analysis, and process solutions.
• Assist in the execution of focused initiatives particularly the migration of monthly reports to Datalake and Power BI platforms.
• Perform quality review and process training for new and/or junior team members.
• Participate in projects as assigned or other ad hoc activities.

What we are looking for

• University degree in finance, business management or finance.
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e. mastery of excel formulas and pivot tables is a must VBA is a plus.)
• Advanced Knowledge of IFS Applications (Essbase, EAS Console)
• Experience with Power BI, Anaplan and Datalake (DAS) would be an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in ambiguous environment and adapt to change while managing time and workload with aggressive timelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across cultures.
• Ability to makes sound decisions in the absence of rules and /or in complex situations.
• Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently with less sup ervision.
