The Senior Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in partnering with the Procurement Leadership Team (PLT), Supply Chain Team, and Business Unit stakeholders. This is a unique role with exposure to the total value chain across direct and indirect spend pools and broad exposure across senior Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Group, and Finance leadership teams.
Partner with the procurement leadership team in developing the overall strategy for the function, driving accelerated value creation.
Provide financial oversight and review business opportunities and projects. This includes (but is not limited to) billing of material review, standard cost review, hedging recommendations, cost forecasting, risk management recommendations, make vs. buy recommendations, and review of savings and tender results.
Support Global Procurement Services (GPS) in preparing material cost updates for standard costs.
Support the global category managers (GCMs) in understanding the strategies to deliver savings and ensuring appropriate levels of performance tracking are in place.
Provide formal and informal training on financial concepts and systems to the broader procurement team members.
Perform other tasks, ad hoc analysis, and reports when needed to support the company in achieving its business objectives.
Job Qualifications
A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Preferably, a Certified Public Accountant or holder of equivalent certifications (e.g., CMA, CFA).
Must have at least eight (8) years of relevant work experience.
Proven capability to build and manage large databases for scenario planning, data analysis, and reporting.
Ability to work with ERP systems with end-to-end capability in material estimates, pricing, and variance analysis.
Proven experience in creating controls and transparent processes.
