What will you do

This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineering professional to join our Water Team in our Global Delivery Centre based in Manila. This will be a start of exploring more growth with a world-class company and various types and scales of projects within New Zealand. As a transmission pipeline design engineer, you will be a key member of the team adding your design skills and knowledge including diversity of thought to the team.

• Deliver engineeringdesign from master planning to detail design for water and wastewater pipeline systems, including hydraulic design, route selection and pipeline design, civil 3D design modelling, construction methodology, risk assessment and safety in design assessment.
• Collaborate closely with civil and geotechnical teams to resolve technical interfaces across varied terrain and to ensure all project aspects are aligned with client objectives, regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practice.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for concept and detailed design.

What can you bring to the team

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• 5+ years of experience in pipeline/transmission pipeline and pump station infrastructure projects
• Excellent design skills with the ability to understand design objectives and develop good engineering solutions using NZ standards
• General civil design skills would be an additional advantage
• Experience in Civil 3d or 12d software would be desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to work with the team
• An ability to maintain and build strong relationships with different team across the business
• Be self-driven and personable
