Summary
In conjunction with DHC Applications Engineers, develop and design evaluation boards and reference designs for Digital Healthcare, including software for these boards. These evaluation boards and reference designs are important tools for our customers as they develop their products (CT Detectors, Digital X-Ray flat panels, Ultrasound Probes, etc).
.Debug and verify hardware designs through software development. This will involve both FPGA code development, and GUI development.
.Develop and implement methodologies to be used in the testing and debug evaluation boards as well as prepare documentations including user guides for software.
.Responsible for component selection, schematic capture, and hardware released through hardware life cycle management.
.Responsible for any software updates and general software management for future revisions.
Key Qualifications
.Experience with FPGA programming and Verilog/SystemVerilog, VHDL programming skills is a plus.
.Experience with GUI development, either LabVIEW or Python experience necessary, both is a plus.
.Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, familiarity with Cadence layout tools is a plus
.Experience with PCB debug and troubleshooting, repair and rebuild.
.Experience with oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, digital multimeters, and other assorted measurement tools.
Education and Experience
.BS or MS degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
