By joining us as a Senior Engineer I, Application, you will provide primary technical support on Copeland products and solutions for customers in the United Kingdom and Scandinavia via phone, email, and portal/online. You will promote a world-class customer experience by providing Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), wholesalers, contractors, and end users with timely and accurate technical solutions and applications and delivering professional services.

In this capacity, you will help the organization by providing our customers with excellent technical support and services. You will collaborate and provide direct support to international application engineering teams and coordinate with various departments and production plants. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

As a Senior Engineer I, Application, you will:

• Provide technical support on the use of Copeland compressors, condensing units, and other Copeland product solutions for customers in the United Kingdom and Scandinavia through technical data and details, product selection and sizing, advice on accessories, application-related topics, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support directly for customers and other internal departments.
• Collaborate with the International Application Engineering team and with other various departments and production plants.
• Create and review technical documentation.
• Support the sales department with expertise on technical questions.
• Work on internal projects within the International Application Engineering team.

Who You Are:

You are proficient in English communication skills, both written and verbal. You can efficiently function both independently and as a teammate while maintaining a positive energy level in an environment of constantly shifting demands. You're a proactive self-starter with a high level of commitment to exceeding expectations. You are to follow Europe's shift operations in order to support the assigned business and customers. You're interpersonally savvy, able to collaborate, and efficiently work with people at any level across the region.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Process Engineering with knowledge of HVACR.
• Vocational with HVACR certification or a technical course/certification in Mechanical or Electrical.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the related field.
• Intensive field experience in HVACR.
• Average to above electrical and mechanical background.
• Affinity for programming languages and general web applications is a plus.
