Non-Negotiable Skills:
Minimum 7+ years of comprehensive experience with Crystal Administration.
Strong and proven experience in server management, product, and infrastructure management.
Experience in software version upgrades, migration, and data analytics
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
User and Security Management:
o Administer user accounts, permissions, and access to Crystal Reports.
o Ensure data security by controlling who can view, modify, or create reports.
o Set up authentication methods (such as Windows AD or database authentication) for users.
Report Development and Deployment:
o Collaborate with business analysts and report developers to gather requirements.
o Create and deploy Crystal Reports based on user needs.
o Optimize report performance by fine-tuning SQL queries and indexes.
o Schedule and automate report generation and distribution.
Server Maintenance and Monitoring:
o Install, configure, and maintain the Crystal Reports Server.
o Monitor server health, resource usage, and performance.
o Troubleshoot server issues and ensure high availability.
Backup and Recovery:
o Regularly back up Crystal Reports content (reports, schedules, and settings).
o Implement disaster recovery procedures to restore data in case of server failure.
Training and Support:
o Train end-users on report creation, scheduling, and viewing.
o Provide technical support for Crystal Reports-related queries.
o Assist users in troubleshooting report issues.
Version Upgrades and Patch Management:
o Keep Crystal Reports software up to date by applying patches and upgrades.
o Test new versions before deploying them in the production environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum 7+ years of comprehensive experience with Crystal Administration.
Strong and proven experience in server management, product, and infrastructure management.
Experience in software version upgrades, migration, and data analytics.
Proficiency in InfoVerse is desired.
