Non-Negotiable Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree inComputer Scienceor equivalent education/experience
• Minimum5+ yearsof Crystal Administration experience
• Strong expertise inserver management, infrastructure, and product administration
• Experience withsoftware version upgrades, migration, and analytics
• Proficiency inInfoVerseis a plus

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

User and Security Management

• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access to Crystal Reports
• Ensure data security by controlling access to report creation, modification, and viewing
• Configure authentication methods (Windows AD, database authentication, etc.)

Report Development and Deployment

• Collaborate with business analysts and report developers to gather requirements
• Develop and deploy Crystal Reports based on business needs
• Optimize report performance through SQL query tuning and indexing
• Schedule and automate report generation and distribution

Server Maintenance and Monitoring

• Install, configure, and maintain Crystal Reports Server
• Monitor server health, resource usage, and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues to ensure high availability

Backup and Recovery

• Perform regular backups of reports, schedules, and server settings
• Implement disaster recovery procedures to restore data in case of failure

Training and Support

• Provide user training on report creation, scheduling, and access
• Deliver technical support and assist with report troubleshooting

Version Upgrades and Patch Management

• Apply software patches and upgrades to keep Crystal Reports updated
• Test new versions prior to production deployment
