Senior Business Intelligence Reporting Developer

An exciting opportunity for Java professional with experience in MSBI stack to develop / enhance high quality applications in an Agile environment of an established global financial institution.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related Discipline;
• At least 5 years of application development experience in JAVA with exposure in MSBI stack;
• Proven experience in Java,SQL and SSIS;
• Well versed in TFS (Team Foundation Server), Power BI, GitHub, Azure Dev Ops;
• Exposure and experience in designing codes framework, writingefficient codes with minimal technical debtand writingeffective unit and integration tests;
• Good communication skills andable to work with minimal supervision;
• Able to resolveminor or major of technical requests, inquiries, bug fixes and complaints;
• Eager to keep on learning and upgrading skillsets;
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Prior work experience in banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the respective platform codes using JAVA, configurations and unit testing;
• Perform complex database programming by writing SQL procedures on large-scale databases;
• Involved in building end-end ETL flows for DWH application, analyze data models and data quality analysis;
• Ensure deliverables meet business requirements;
• Document and communicate technical designs;
• Ensure all support or project activities are in compliance to the quality assurance, audit specification, internal controls and standards;
• Provide up- to- date and accurate relevant documentation of changes, fixes, upgrades, enhancements of supported applications and implementation procedures in accordance to established standards.
