Scrum Master

Primary objectives of the role

Keeping the CBO software development team organized and progressing according to the agreed timeline and in order of agreed priority.

Overseeing and coordinating detailed planning and execution of the CBO subproject, which is part of a larger turn-key Scheme solution whichThe companyis delivering. This includes:

oFront end and backend software development,

oCBO code review and unit testing,

oInternal and external CBO interfaces integration,

oDeployment on AWS platform,

oCBO acceptance testing stages,

oLegacy system data migration,

oCBO shadow run strategy and implementation,

oCBO go live process, including switching over legacy external interfaces to CBO,

oPost CBO go live monitoring period, including:

SL & KPIs monitoring and recording,

Implementing required adjustments and enhancement,

Prioritizing development requirements as necessary.

Ensuring CBO capabilities comply with PCI- DSS and cybersecurity requirements, national financial regulations,

Developing and maintaining exhaustive CBO implementation plans and schedule,

Proactively assisting Scheme Project Manager with identifying and addressing internal and external topics potentially impacting CBO and Scheme design, development, and testing, deployment, and acceptance, either positively or negatively.

Agile team management

Planning the CBO software development activities, timetable, deliverables and resources,

Managing the CBO software development, defining roles and responsibilities, setting velocity and quality performance objectives and standards, providing proper coaching and training to monitor and evaluate performance.

Educating CBO development team (which is presently not yet a self-organizing team) about Scrum and Agile principles, and guiding them in understanding and applying Scrum principles and values, helping them become progressively high-performing and self-organizing,

Providing guidance and support to CBO development team to enhance their understanding and application of Scrum,

Organizing and leading Scrum ceremonies like sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives,

Tracking CBO implementation progress against the CBO implementation schedule,

Overseeing the CBO software development process and ensuring adequate code review, and unit testing is carried out, and liaising and supporting Scheme testing team in the preparation of the CBO for each acceptance testing stage,

Defining and monitoring measurable CBO implementation progress and quality indicators on each key workstream of the CBO implementation,

Collaboration with the CBO Product owner / Manager

Collaborating with the CBO Product owner/ manager, analyzing and providing design advice and technical specifications for the CBO solution to satisfy the Scheme requirements,

Collaborating with the CBO Product owner / manager to determine prioritization and that works completed within each sprint align with the overall demonstration to and sign off by the Client,

Tracking and documenting the delivery of eachThe companyClient's requirements related to CBO into the Scheme project schedule

Minimum qualifications, skillset and experience

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)

At least 5 years of experience in managing, mentoring, and leading Agile software engineering teams,

Ability to attract, hire, and maintain a team of talented software developers, and

Organized and detail oriented.
