Job Description

As a Scrum Master, your responsibilities will include organizing and leading essential meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and sprint review sessions. These gatherings will serve to maintain the team's organization and focus. Additionally, you will excel in identifying, managing, and expertly resolving complex issues that could potentially impede the team's progress towards project goals.

Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: Day Shift (7AM - 4PM)
Work Arrangement: Permanent WFH (Client team is based in Makati)

What do you need to succeed

• 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role
  
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  
• 5 years of experience ScrumMaster role for a software development team
  
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO)
  
• 5 years of experience with agile practices, patterns, and techniques
  
• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  
• Team player attitude
  
• Good time-management skills
  
• Great interpersonal and communication skills

• Foster close collaboration and maintain regular communication with various business units to guarantee project alignment and a unified service experience.
  
• Act as an essential member of project teams, orchestrating the on-time and within-budget delivery of IT projects, while ensuring compliance with internal processes and standards.
  
• Organize and lead daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and sprint review sessions to keep the team organized and focused.
  
• Identify, manage, and expertly resolve complex issues that might hinder the team's progress towards project goals, proactively preventing escalations whenever possible.
  
• Collaborate seamlessly with team members, software architects, vendors, and business stakeholders, coordinating efforts to achieve timely project deliveries.
  
• Stay well-informed about technology trends, industry disruptions, and innovations to effectively connect with and support our business objectives.
  
• Proven ability to facilitate interactions with business users, aiding them in defining problem statements, articulating desired business outcomes, and driving transformative business initiatives or process re-engineering.
  
• Lead teams in implementing Scrum in order to maximize velocity. Work with Product Owner to ensure highest value features are delivered at agreed time.
  
• Build team cohesion through collaboration, effective communication, openness, respect, and transparency.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
