SAP Finance Consultant
General description:
Finance resource is responsible for ensuring that the Finance issues in the ERP tool
attended and resolved on a timely basis.
Key responsibilities
Day-to-day support to ERP tool users across different MD locations.
Investigate and resolve incidents raised by users
Conduct root cause analysis
Respond to queries from users
Implementation of minor changes
Joint problem solving with other support teams
Test changes, document test scripts and analyze test results
Conduct regression testing of ERP tool processes
Conduct GAP Analysis and provide Functional specifications
Key competencies
ERP knowledge Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed asset, ICP,
Closing activities and Cash flow
Strong accounting background is a must
Business knowledge on Finance Processes
Basic understanding of flow of processes between Finance and cross functional modules (Operations & Maintenance, SCM & Projects).
Experience with ticket tracking systems (Service Now) will be an advantage
ITIL knowledge, especially Incident Management will also be an advantage
Knowledge in SQL is an advantage
