Organization Overview
Reconciliation Servicesreconciles SAP general ledger andinternal Demand DepositAccounts (IDDA)for business partners in Consumer & Community Banking, Corporate & Investment Bank, Commercial Banking, Card Services and Banking Operations to ensure they are balanced appropriately. Cashier's Check Central Support (CCCS) is part of the Reconciliation Services team dedicated to overseeing and supporting JPMorgan Chase's cashier's check and money order products. The team serves as key account owners/reconcilers for high-volume, enterprise-wide transaction processing systems.

Annually, Reconciliation Services transactionvolumeexceeds 500 million items across 13,000 accounts. The business unit operates in Fort Worth, Texas Indianapolis, Indiana and Bengaluru, India.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Reconciles general ledger and IDDAs for line of business partners to ensure balance sheetintegrity

  • Collaborates with business partners and performs research to resolve all outstanding reconciling items
  • Escalates items exceeding standardsfor business partners to resolve and minimize operational losses
  • Promotes strong internal controls byproactively identifyingand communicating issues
  • Supports corporate and line of business projects that impact reconciliations
  • Ensures adherence to corporate accounting standards and risk policies

Advises business partners on process design, operational accounting and control improvement.

  • Time Management skills and multitasking ability
  • Excellent Communication (verbal & written) and Inter-Personal skills
  • Accounting skillset /degree is preferred
