Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician supports manufacturing quality operations by monitoring process performance, analyzing data, and assisting in the resolution of quality issues. This role ensures compliance with quality standards and supports continuous improvement to maintain high product quality and yield.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze production quality data (e.g., yield, OATF) to identify trends, deviations, and potential issues in support of the Quality Engineer; escalate concerns as needed
  • Support investigation of in-process and customer quality issues, including gathering data, assisting in root cause analysis, and tracking corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure proper implementation of containment actions by conducting spot audits and verifying effectiveness on the production floor.
  • Review, process, and maintain quality-related documentation such as Quality Alerts, Purging Notices, MRB, RMA, ECO, and work instructions.
  • Assist in initiating and monitoring Stop Build/Stop Ship and Hold Shipment activities for critical quality issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate quality reports and records to support decision-making and compliance requirements.
  • Support internal audits and ensure adherence to quality standards such as TL9000/ISO.
  • Assist in New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfer activities, including monitoring builds and supporting qualification reporting.
  • Track test yields (e.g., burn-in) and provide data to support yield improvement and process optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or quality.
  • Basic knowledge of SPC, PFMEA, and root cause analysis (8D/RCCA).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and teamwork.
  • Willing to work onsite in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
