Job Description

Reporting to the System Testing Team Lead you will be responsible for performing test activities and managing the Quality Assurance on the company's suite of innovative learning platforms.

You will work closely with both our technology and learning solutions teams.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse test requirements, design, create test plans and test scripts
  • Execute test scripts and document results
  • Identify, record, and document bugs in issue tracking systems such as JIRA
  • Perform various testing activities such as Functional, Regression, Integration and smoke testing to assess the completeness and quality of the product
  • Execute Session-based Exploratory testing where scripted testing is inappropriate
  • Contribute to testing in different browsers, testing APIs, and accessibility testing when necessary
  • Assist in the production release and review of all test deliverables
  • Assist and support the learning solution team in relation to technical issues in the product
  • Escalate risks and issues identified during test planning, design or execution and communicate to the team


  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Solid understanding and experience in all forms of testing including functional, regression, Integration and user acceptance testing
  • Experience using test and defect management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr
  • Proficient in reporting defects and tracking them to closure
  • Basic knowledge or experience writing SQL queries
  • Experience in using automation test tools such as Selenium
  • Experience in testing API using Postman
  • Proficient in cross browser - web and mobile testing with tools like Browserstack, Chrome Mobile View etc.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders
  • Able to work autonomously, self-manage your time, and work to deadlines
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • ISTQB certification - desirable

Organisational Structure:

The role reports to the System Testing Team Lead. The role has no direct reports.

    • Monday-Friday 6AM to 3PM PH Time


    • Homebased
    • Must have a strong internet connection with minimum of 20 mbps-equipment is provided if with 15km near Eastwood, Alabang, Clark or Cebu location.
