Job Description
  • Perform daily product costing for new materials and ensure these will be active within the day for simple to moderate 3M subsidiaries.
  • Check and analyze master data set-up, landing conditions.
  • Investigate and analyze standard cost variance for small to moderate 3M subsidiaries.
  • Communicate to relevant parties the errors encountered in the costing activities.
  • Run and document costing simulations.
  • Perform and document annual costing activities and ensure timely completion including marking and releasing of materials
  • Analyze and investigate simple SAP Product Costing Execution tickets and requests.
  • Perform the monthly re-costing activities in accordance with 3M Finance Standards.
  • Assist in the costing approval for countries migrating to SAP.
  • Create and update SOPs, work instructions and job aids.
  • Establish an excellent working relationship with stakeholders.
  • Support other activities necessary to achieve the organization's objectives of business transformation.
  • Ensure compliance to 3M Financial Standards, SOX and other regulations.
  • Ensure the performance meets SLA/ KPIs and continuously improve productivity and service quality.
  • Engage in ad-hoc activities such as internal/external audit, tax audit, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Accounting degree and working experience in Finance and Accounting area. Solid financial accounting and internal control knowledge are required Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Experience in Material Master Data and knowledge for standard costing are highly considered
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Experience in Shared Service Center for multi-national organization is preferred 2 years of experience
  • CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred
  • Fluent in English

  • Flexible for new assignment and willingness to learn. For example, ability to learn Legacy System (AS/400, PeopleSoft, etc.)
  • Cross functional and cultural communication skills
  • Detailed oriented and enjoys working with operational processes
  • Highly client service and quality oriented mindset;
  • Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workload
  • Team oriented person
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
