Title: Product Cost Accountant
The Product Cost Accountant Is Responsible For The Following
- Preparing a detailed financial plan or budget for new business acquisitions.
- Collaborating with PPIC, Engineering, Projects Team, R&D, Store SBU, Logistics etc... in gathering and determining critical information for financial projections.
- Creating and maintaining financial models for a new business financial outlook.
- Converting cost calculations and allocations for new products.
- Reviewing standard product costing from R&D and checking for reasonableness against current and projected prices.
- Determining and coordinating cost driver improvements and gaps between the business plan and actual results.
Position Qualifications
- A Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or finance-related course.
- With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience specializing in Product Cost Management, Cost Accounting, or Cost Management and knowledgeable in various cost accounting principles (standard costing, activity-based costing, and cost allocation) and inventory management principles.
- With at least three (3) years of work experience in any manufacturing industry at the same capacity.
- Experience in using accounting software and ERP systems
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (an advantage).
- Amenable to work on a hybrid work set-up in either of the following locations: Canlubang Laguna, Ortigas Pasig, Marcelo Green Paranaque.
