Job Title : PeopleSoft Applications Developer/Web Support

Job Location: Central Luzon, Central Visayas, Metro Manila / NCR
  • Proficiency in all phases of PeopleSoft development support including technical analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, validation and post implementation support
  • Proactively contributes to technical discussions to help in decision making
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand and document business requirements
  • Provide development and support for all Administrative web applications
  • PayrollForms
  • GC Intranet
  • Careers page that connects to iCIMS (Job site)
  • Provide production support for all PeopleSoft applications
  • Time and Labor support
  • TL reporting
  • Process monitoring
  • Interface support to 3rd party processes
  • Benefits and BenAdmin support and configuration
  • Open Enrollment annual support of configurations and processes
  • Benefits Administration module, maintenance and support for all processes
  • Any support based on business requests/needs
  • Benefits reporting setup and support
  • Billing reports
  • Setup, configure and support benefits files to vendors for processing
  • PS Financials support, AP, AR, GL, CM, Treasury Recon, Asset Management
  • Support for all modules listed as needs/requests by the business are made
  • Support interfaces in PS that connect to the GC Invoicing system
  • Development and configure new interfaces as requested
  • Reporting development and support
  • Create and support SQRs for all business needs
  • Provide support for PSQuery
  • Duties include PeopleSoft security and administration in support of the Security team
  • By request, assign security permissions, and roles as requested by the business
  • Troubleshoot security issues in support of the security team
  • Provide support for interfaces which use the PS data. Typically extracts or files/process sent to other GC systems or 3rd party vendors
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and improve processes in an effort to increase the level and quality of customer service
  • Identify streamlining possibilities
  • Proactively work towards process improvement
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience as a PeopleSoft Applications Developer supporting version 8.9 or higher
  • Technical skills in PeopleTools 8.x, PeopleCode, Component Interface, SQR, Application Engine programming, app messaging and Integration Broker
  • Knowledge and experience in designing and developing interfaces using PeopleSoft integration technologies
  • Strong SQL proficiencies
  • Strong analytical and testing skills needed and must have the ability to lead testing efforts
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Prior experience developing with .NET or VB is a plus but not required
  • Must be willing to work after hours and weekends if needed (will have VPN access to work from home after hours when needed)
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Workflow and notification processes is a plus
  • Experience upgrading from PeopleSoft 8.x to 9.0 or 9.1 is a huge plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have a basic understanding of Accounting practices, HR and Payroll processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field is preferred
