Settlement Operations is accountable for various funding and payment activities impacting merchants and cardholders around the world.

As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst in settlement operations, you will assist in the processing of the daily adjustments, funds transfer maintenance, invoice creation and clearing, manual payment instructions and escalation management. This role will aid in the review of reporting to help monitor the productivity of the team and assist in oversight functions for all areas of settlement. In addition, you will partner with various groups to resolve issues with minimal or no cardholder/merchant impact, implement new products, identify efficiencies in existing processes and ensure controls are followed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Processing of complexdaily operations including case management, manual invoicing,billing, manual payments/settlement and adjustments
  • Assist in the oversight/approvals of daily work, reporting, group mailbox reviews and end of day completeness checks
  • Assist in funding/settlement issues and work with various groups to resolve to meet strict deadlines
  • Effectively prioritize workload to ensure completeness and timeliness of tasks and demonstrate the ability to research and resolve escalations timely
  • Identify, suggest and implement process improvements and efficiencies including attending project meetings and testing
  • Communicate and contribute to the development of department and corporate goals
  • Review procedures, record retention policies, and update as required

  • Strong interpersonal skills ability to coordinate and partner with stakeholders across different levels
  • Team oriented -work cohesively and be able to influence a broad range of groups and individuals
  • Abilityto identify gaps or issues and create solutions to remediate
  • Leverage forward thinking skills to identify improvement opportunities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Payment/Merchant acquiring experience a plus
  • Accounting/Financial knowledge a plus
  • Candidate will have broad experience from multiple disciplines, i.e. Operations, Controls, Product, etc.
