Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Day Shift, Mon - Fri 7AM - 4PM
Work Setup: Permanent WFH, Ortigas (WFH except for quarterly meetups or depending on the client instruction)

Counting on You: Key Ledger Responsibilities
  • Prepare compliant advice documents, including Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs).
  • Develop and construct high-quality, compliant comprehensive advice documents.
  • Ensure all documents are factually accurate, technically sound, editorially personalized, and aligned with relevant legislative requirements and client guidelines.
  • Oversee advice document requests and collaborate with Authorized Representatives to ensure the appropriateness of advice and quality of documentation.
  • Maintain and develop strong working relationships with clients, representing the company with professionalism and competence.
  • Assist in the development of processes and procedures for Paraplanning functions.
  • Participate in identified ad hoc projects to enhance services within the team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and team development by enhancing internal tasks and procedures, improving client communication, and ensuring a high level of product and lender policy knowledge.
  • Assist administration team members with the implementation of advice.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, such as product providers.
  • Communicate with clients as required.

Requirements

Numbers Whisperer Wanted: Qualifications that Add Up

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in paraplanning.
  • RG146 certificate or Diploma in Financial Planning is preferred.
  • Solid background in paraplanning within an Australian firm, demonstrating thorough knowledge and practical skills in risk management.
  • Experience using all modules of Xplan software and/or Omnium Researcher.
  • Ability to prepare compliant advice documents such as SOAs and ROAs.
  • Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of Australian financial services licensees and their advisers.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office as well as other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Initiative to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate in a small team.
  • Capability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.
  • Skill in presenting to small and large groups.
