You own the integrity of medical bill and record files that feed into active personal injury cases for a U.S. law firm. Your work ensures every record has a matching bill, every file follows naming protocols, and case clerks receive accurate, audit-ready documentation on schedule.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

• At least 2 years in legal support, medical records, or document management for U.S. or offshore teams
• Hands-on responsibility for organizing, splitting, merging, and renaming PDF files at volume
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for transcription, tallying, and inventory tracking
• Experience operating within naming conventions, file protocols, or QA review cycles
• Willingness to work a night shift aligned with U.S. business hours from a stable home setup with reliable internet

Strong Signals

• Prior exposure to U.S. personal injury or plaintiff-side litigation files
• Familiarity with medical billing terminology and visit-level record structure
• Experience coordinating with onshore litigation clerks or paralegals
• Comfort handling high-volume document workflows under daily quotas

Responsibility Pillars

File Management & Organization

• Transfer medical bills and records from one folder to another
• Rename files based on specific naming protocols, with basic document review
• Split multi-page PDFs (containing multiple medical visits) into separate visit-based files
• Combine multiple PDF medical bills into consolidated documents when needed

Document Review & Quality Check

• Review files to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Cross-check that every medical record has a corresponding bill and vice versa
• Identify missing documents or mismatched files

Data Entry & Documentation

• Maintain an inventory of all medical bills and records
• Tally medical billing amounts and record them in a Word document or spreadsheet
• Transcribe key details from medical records into the tracking file

Coordination & Follow-Up

• Coordinate with the Litigation Clerk to request missing medical records or bills based on identified gaps
• Support ongoing case file completeness through timely follow-ups
