The qualified candidate will do the following responsibilities:
Install and Configure new DB environments as needed by the client
Configure Database DR technologies
Perform Adhoc patching and Upgrade the database to resolve bug fixes
Perform database disaster recovery drills
Perform database resource expansion disk and memory
Standby DB project support for Storage and VM Migration
Perform Database Migrations
Perform Database Decommission
Perform Database Code Deployments
Create and Document Changes through Change Management Process
Participate with the Oncall Rotation for DB Operations escalated incidents
The qualified candidate must possess the following qualifications:
Oracle/MS SQL/Sybase/Netezza/Postgre/DB2 Database Administration
Experienced doing Installation and Configuration of Oracle 12c or higher both standalone and RAC
Experienced Oracle patching and upgrade (In-place and Server to Server)
* Experienced Managing Oracle RAC and other clustering technologies
* Experienced Configuring and troubleshooting Dataguard (Failover and Switchover)
* Installation, Configuration, Troubleshoot of Oracle Enterprise Manager
* Experienced SQL Tuning, AWR, Profiling, Hints and other query optimization
Service Now, SM9
Highly adept in verbal and communication skills.
Should be process and detailed oriented.
ITIL Certified/Practioner familiarity with Incident, Change, Problem Management.
Experienced in leading a team/resources
Experienced in creating of technical Documents KBs/HowTos/etc
