Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle DBA with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle database administration. The ideal candidate will have experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on Oracle DBA operations from offshore along with customer interaction
  • Perform 24*7 support model including night shifts
  • Work on Performance Tuning, RAC, RMAN, ODA, Exa Data preferably experience in automation using shell scripting.
  • Troubleshoot alerts (alert log, Jobs, Disk Group, Tablespace etc.) and performance issues.
  • Perform capacity planning of Oracle database environment and provide recommendations to management to sustain business growth.
  • Design, implement, maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) methodologies and create documentation.
  • Gather business requirements and design, implement multiple projects along with the production support.
  • Create standard operational procedures and templates.
  • Act as a mentor for Database Administrators and Associate Database Administrators.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
  • Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work on DBA operations from offshore along with customer interaction
  • Ability to work in a 24*7 support model including night shifts.
  • Experience in Performance Tuning, RAC, RMAN, ODA, Exa Data preferably experience in automation using shell scripting.
  • Experience in Telecom Customer is desirable.
