NetSuite Senior Accountant

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: WFH/Independent Contractor/9 AM to 6 PM Pacific time

Role Overview:

We are looking for a finance leader to manage NetSuite financial modules (GL, AP, AR) and drive FP&A activities, including monthly close, forecasting, and variance analysis. This role will lead financial reporting, dashboards, and budgeting processes while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.

The position partners cross-functionally with operations, clinical, billing, and compliance teams to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls. It also includes mentoring junior staff and building scalable financial reporting frameworks.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of NetSuite financial modules (GL, AP, AR, reporting).
• Develop and maintain FP&A processes: monthly closing, forecasts, variance, and profitability analysis.
• Build and streamline financial reporting & dashboards for leadership and physician partners.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic financial planning cycles.
• Identify process improvements and lead NetSuite-driven automation and enhancements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, clinical, billing, and compliance teams.
• Ensure NetSuite integration aligns with internal control and audit requirements.
• Mentor junior finance staff and build scalable reporting frameworks.
• Phase one is focused on getting the books closed—ensuring all books are properly closed, consolidated financial statements are prepared, and all elimination entries are completed.
• Phase two involves building the reporting infrastructure needed to present financials in their required formats.
• Phase three will focus on integration and streamlining various processes.

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or systems finance.
• Demonstrated expertise in NetSuite – implementation, customization, reporting, or SuiteScript.
• Strong analytical, modeling, and Excel skills; Power BI or similar a plus.
• Familiarity with US GAAP, month-end close, and financial audits.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and organized; proven self-starter.
• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
