NDIS EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

A growing group operating across healthcare and service-based industries is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities.

This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role suited to someone confident in managing both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable end-to-end, with minimal supervision.

This is a purely operational accounting role focused on bookkeeping and finance support.

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy and driving efficient processes across multiple companies. This role requires someone who can take initiative, problem-solve independently, and manage competing priorities across different business units.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end management of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable across multiple entities

- Daily bookkeeping and accurate coding of transactions in Xero

- Raising, issuing, and managing high-volume invoicing

- Ownership of collections, aged receivables, and payment follow-ups

- Liaising with NDIS Plan Managers (invoice submissions, payment tracking, issue resolution)

- Performing bank, credit card, and account reconciliations

- Maintaining clean, accurate, and up-to-date financial records

- Managing supplier payments, expenses, and reimbursements

- Supporting payroll preparation (timesheet verification and coordination)

- Identifying discrepancies and resolving issues proactively

- Assisting with internal reporting and financial summaries

- Streamlining and improving finance processes where possible

To be considered, you must demonstrate:

- 3+ years experience in an Accounts Clerk, Bookkeeping, or similar finance role

- Experience with Australia's NDIS (essential)

- Strong, hands-on experience with Xero (essential)

- Proven experience with transaction coding, reconciliations, and invoicing workflows

- Experience managing full AR/AP functions independently

- Experience working across multiple entities or business accounts

- High attention to detail with strong accuracy

- Confidence handling collections, payment follow-ups, and client queries

- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines

- Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of your role

What We Offer:

- Stable, long-term role within a growing multi-entity organisation

- Opportunity to take ownership of finance operations across multiple businesses

- Direct exposure to management and business operations

- Supportive environment with clear systems and expectations

- Performance-based incentives and career growth opportunities

- Flexible work-from-home arrangements

If you are an experienced Accounts professional with strong NDIS, Xero and invoicing expertise, looking for a role where you can take ownership and make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
