Job Title: Monitoring Analyst
Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa (3 times a week RTO -Hybrid)
Mode of Hiring: Full-time contract
JOB OPPORTUNITY:
Primary Technical abilities:
1. Monitoring Specialist Task Proficiency
a. Knowledgeable in PC Operating System (Windows 98/XP/2000/7 and higher);
b. Knowledgeable in Windows Server Operating System and Cloud (Azure, AWS)
c. Knowledgeable in Linux Operating System;
d. Monitor assigned task(s) including the scheduled reports globally;
e. Knowledgeable in monitoring tools such as but not limited to Nagios, App Dynamic, Elastic, SolarWinds and other Monitoring tools.
f. Ability to familiarize themselves with the research and information resources and knowledge bases at hand.
g. Ready to research questions using a variety of manuals and resources, and to work with other Monitoring Support Specialist and IT colleagues in resolving Alert/Monitoring concerns.
h. Shows eagerness to learn as one progress in the field and as one is faced with new questions and situations.
i. Knowledge of any of the following monitoring tools Nagios, App Dynamic, Elastic, SolarWinds and other Monitoring tools. The ability to set up alerts and navigate on the monitoring tool is a good consideration.
j. Knowledge of Nagios, App Dynamic, Elastic, SolarWinds and other Monitoring tool Administration.
2. Teamwork
a. Ability to flexibly adjust to help other Monitoring Support Specialist in case of unavailability or emergency cases to ensure continuity of service.
b. Exercise turnover of activities to the next team member on duty.
Secondary Technical abilities:
1) Knowledge ITIL framework
2) Knowledge in ticketing tool

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION (Requirements):
a. Education
Bachelor's or College degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and/or related field.
b. Experience
Has at least one (1) year of experience in Monitoring tasks or Infrastructure support including but not limited to problem tracking and Incident management.
Exposure to technical set-up, configuration and maintenance of different applications, network environments, and software tools is an advantage.
Exposure in dealing and talking with end customers.
c. Skills
Organized and able to set priorities;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment;
Ability to grasp system information and technical functions and ability to explain them into layman terms/words for easy understanding of end-customers;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work assignments;
Proficient in computer operations knowledgeable with SQL Database, Windows operating systems, Linux operating;

To provide 24x7 services to the company, Central Monitoring Team will work on different shifts
Some days may be heavy while others may be light. Longer hours may be required when a need arises.
