Job Description

  • Manage general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax).
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Handle payroll accounting and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Prepare for audits and liaise with external auditors and government agencies.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, schedules, and documentation.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and drive process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proven business tax experience and familiarity with BIR eFPS.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Odoo, QuickBooks, or Xero).
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Financial Modeling).
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
