Job Overview

Responsible for the end‑to‑end execution and management of incentive compensation and Commercial Operations activities within the Global Commercial Solutions (CS) organization. This role owns global Commercial Operations KPIs, partners with country and global teams to drive performance improvement, and ensures the consistent application of IQVIA best practices and policies.

The Manager, Commercial Operations provides subject‑matter expertise on incentive compensation programs, including plan setup, validation, calculation, reporting, and governance. The role supports critical operational processes through detailed analysis, reporting, and platform enablement, with a strong focus on accuracy, data integrity, timeliness, and confidentiality.

Essential Functions

Sales Incentives

  • Own end‑to‑end incentive compensation execution, including plan setup, validation, calculation, approvals coordination, and payroll communication
  • Ensure incentive plans and programs comply with company policies, governance standards, and audit requirements
  • Support the timely and accurate administration of incentive compensation cycles across assigned global Commercial Solutions teams
  • Partner with global, regional, and country teams to support compliant execution of sales incentive programs and contribute to the ongoing evolution of incentive strategies aligned with Global Commercial Solutions go‑to‑market objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver standardized reports and KPIs for sales leadership, finance, and senior stakeholders
  • Support the global expansion, stabilization, and optimization of the incentive technology platform

Reporting

  • Execute regular and ad‑hoc reporting and analysis on Commercial Operations metrics and sales performance
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of global sales performance trackers and dashboards, with a focus on data quality and usability
  • Partner with technical, finance, and business teams to automate reporting and tracking processes, improving scalability and data reliability

Commercial Operations

  • Enable global Commercial Operations KPIs through ongoing performance monitoring and analysis, partnering with country and regional teams to identify issues and drive performance improvements
  • Identify issues and trends, and work with stakeholders to progress action plans addressing operational gaps
  • Manage and govern Commercial Operations documentation and collaboration spaces (e.g., SharePoint), ensuring data accuracy and controlled access

Operational excellence

  • Support operational excellence and transformation initiatives through detailed data analysis, insight generation, and performance tracking
  • Contribute to process improvement, standardization, and tooling initiatives (e.g., Enterprise Pricing Initiative), supporting the transition from manual to scalable solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, or Incentive Compensation
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, end‑to‑end operational processes with high accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent problem‑solving, judgment, and decision‑making capabilities in complex and high‑risk scenarios
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed, and multicultural environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
  • High level of integrity, discretion, autonomy, and accountability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with incentive compensation platforms strongly preferred
  • Experience building dashboards and data visualizations is a plus
  • Amenable to work on Night shift schedule with some flexibility to work on earlier schedule if necessary
  • Amenable to work on Hybrid set up
