The Medical Coding Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the medical coding team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting regular coding audits, providing training and guidance to coding staff, and staying updated on industry changes and best practices. Some remote work is acceptable, with the role primarily located in Pasig.
Qualifications
Coding Experience and Health Information Management skills
Proficiency in Medical Terminology and Medical Coding
With active AAPC and/or AHIMA certification
Must have at least 5 years of Operations/Service Delivery Management experience
Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines
Experience in conducting coding audits and providing training and guidance
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and analytical thinking
Experience with electronic health record systems is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field is preferred
