Job Summary

Assists the Marketing Team with a variety of marketing activities to increase our brand awareness in the two markets we serve (retail and banking). In charge of managing the company's social media channels and email marketing, with a heavy focus in copywriting and content creation. Responsible for creating and managing our content calendar and writing articles, blogs, white papers, ad copy, brochures, video scripts, web content for SEO and newsletters. Implements campaigns and analyzes data to determine campaign efficiency and shape future marketing strategies.Job Description

. Creates and manages content calendar and catalog of thought leadership articles, blog posts, and press releases. Ensures timely news and industry relevant articles.

. Create and manages social media calendar posting 5-7 posts per week on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers and managing published content. Elevates our employee engagement by encouraging employees to repost and like posts and has created a plan to increase engagement with 2-3 executives. Researches and recommends the best way to use sponsored content.

. Writes blogs and publishes them to our website with focused keywords to boost keyword ranking and impact SEO.

. Writes press releases and publishes them on our website, submits them to industry publications and promotes on our social media accounts.

. Curates content for the banking and retail newsletters to ensure timely and relevant thought leadership pieces and information about our products.

. Writes all copy for print and digital advertising, product sheets, brochures, website content, landing pages, etc.

. Manage email marketing initiatives that drive sales and build customer loyalty & retention. In charge of preparing, executing, and evaluating e-blasts on a weekly basis. Work with Marketing Director to plan calendar of e-blasts and help facilitate email design and keep the aesthetic cohesive across campaigns.

. Proactively resolve problems and roadblocks to keep workflow on schedule and escalate to manager for resolution as needed.

. Tracks, adjusts and reports KPIs for social media and email marketing campaigns. Analyzes data to determine campaign efficiency and help shape future marketing strategies.


. Bachelor's Degree in English, advertising, journalism, or related field.
. 2+ years marketing, advertising, and copywriting experience in B2B Marketing.
. Exceptional communication and writing skills. Ability to concept and write content in a variety of formats.
. Thorough understanding of marketing elements and market research methods.
. Clear understanding of social, digital, general advertising, and direct response principles.
. Have stellar interpersonal skills, with an accent on working with different departments and people at all levels of the company.
. Strong work ethics and ability to self-manage, well-organized and detail oriented.
. Strong data research and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications
. Experience with retail technology (EAS and RFID) and banking technology or the ability to quickly research to understand the content and write about it in a conversational tone.
. Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator preferred.
. Experience with MailChimp, Constant Contact or similar email marketing platform.
. Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics. Experience working in WordPress.
