Schedule:
- Part-time (approx. 20 hours/week) with potential to transition to Full-time; flexible within EST.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate communications across multiple courts via email and phone to verify status.
- Contact court clerks and prosecutors to gather non-public scheduling and procedural info.
- Conduct targeted research for subpoenas and court-specific rules of practice.
- Prepare and organize legal mailings, document filings, and discovery materials.
- Manage the principal attorney's calendar and handle client inquiries via Zoom Phone.
- Review and validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and legal compliance.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with US-based law firms.
- Strong legal background (law degree or senior paralegal certification preferred).
- Exceptional technological literacy; ability to master new automation and AI tools quickly.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding.
- Residing in a Latin American time zone for real-time collaboration during US hours.
- Bonus if you have experience with Zoom Phone and password management software.
- It helps if you have a curious mindset and a professional sense of humor.
